Well...almost. Still finishing up a couple papers, but for the most part, done. I suppose really I've been out of class for almost 2 weeks now, which is also nuts, but since I've still been mostly working on things it hasn't felt like a true break yet.
I am missing being in the snowglobe daily...
This semester was really great. The mix of classes I had kept things very interesting and after these two semesters I really feel like I'm getting a more complete set of knowledge that will serve me well in the future. Our little cohort (those of us that started last spring, as well as the new intakes from the fall) who will all graduate together definitely hit our stride somewhere along the way this semester, and even though we are a wide ranging group of personalities, each from a different country, somehow we've figured out how to have really great discussions and truly learn from each other. I'm a little sad now that some of us have already taken most of their spring requirements, so our little group won't be as exclusively together as this semester, but I'm definitely looking forward to the next year and a half with them.
I cannot believe I've finished two semesters, and with the way my classes are distributed over my semesters I'm really about two thirds of the way finished with those (then there's the whole thesis business...). These weeks and months have been flying by, and I have no doubt the remaining ones will do the same. I cannot believe I'm rapidly approaching having been here an entire year, still thinking of some way to properly celebrate that.
I realize this post isn't all that interesting to most of you, but I feel a bit lax in my posting recently and I want to be sure I keep putting in these little bits for myself, not just big vacations and events. Never fear though, I'm leaving Thursday morning for a long weekend of skiing, so you'll be inundated with way more pictures of Alpine scenery than you'll know what to do with.
