The Tilt of the Earth

This week fall is definitely pushing its way in, and signs of summer are leaving quickly.  It amazes me how much earlier it is getting dark in the evenings; when I left Vienna in July, it would easily be dusk about 10pm, and now it is completely dark by about 7:30 and that seems to be getting noticeably earlier each day.  I still have my fingers crossed that I'll get to see some properly changing leaf colors soon, although I'm getting differing reports on that possibility, so I'm trying to set my bar low.  I'm not expecting anything close to the New England autumns that I've grown up with, I realize those are fairly specialized for just that part of the world...but a few yellows and oranges would be awesome.  Last night I went for a stroll around town just as the sun was setting and took a few pictures along my walk.  This city really is gorgeous anytime of day or night and in all seasons.

Still enjoying catching up with friends and running errands and enjoying the last bit of time before school starts!
