Langley Choir in Vienna!

Today was definitely a bit of a blast from the past...the choirs from my high school are on tour in Europe over their spring break (they just came from Prague, are in Vienna a couple days before heading to Melk and Salzburg) and today they put on a concert for the public at Schoenbrunn Place in the chapel there, so I ran over there this afternoon to hear them!

The Easter market at Schoenbrunn is still set up, and since I was a bit early I walked around there a bit...I got really excited when I started seeing random people wearing Langley fleeces...I chatted with some of the chaperones while the choirs were warming up...playing the who do you know game.  very fun.

It's also amazing how much choir music sticks in your head even after many years...there were several pieces they did that I had also sung in high school and all those parts came flooding back.  Plus...they're still wearing basically the same dresses we worked so hard to pick out my freshman year...apparently they discontinued the exact style, so these are the closest they could find, but they still thought we made a great choice :)

I also tried to get video of them singing The Lord Bless You and Keep You...
hopefully this will work on here!

Looking at the pictures and listening to "The Lord Bless You and Keep You" was the highlight of my day thus far. Thanks for sharing.
