The outside of my building
I'll try to walk you through the apartment to give a visual idea the best I can...this is just completely empty, updated pictures to follow as I get things set up.
As you walk in the front door...the kitchen is on the left and closets on the wall to the right. The open door to the left is the bathroom and straight ahead is the open door to my bedroom. Definitely small...but larger than some NYC apartments for sure.
The very efficient kitchen. The refrigerator is the door to left under the stove, to the right is just storage.
The wall of closets. There are slider doors that close them off, and one is a full mirror, so the kitchen is reflecting into the mirror. Two sections are for hanging clothes and then one is just shelves (to the left) there are additional storage spaces above. Definitely more storage in this apartment than any other i've had :)
My bathroom (shower to the left)
My bedroom from the doorway, bed, desk, shelves, chair, etc. Basic bedroom things, but still fairly roomy.
The door to the room is just to the right of the shelves in this picture (door is closed)
And probably the best part...the view from my apartment!
The neighborhood around there is cute. Lots of shops and restaurants and bars and things and it's in easy walking distance of the U-bahn as well as several bus and Strassenbahn lines.
We'll make a run to IKEA tomorrow probably and see what we can find to make the apartment a bit more homey!

Alison, my sister and her husband lived in Vienna for 25 years as missionaries! I visited three or so times and I love the city!! I know you are going to have a wonderful time and will be blessed by all the good things there. If you need an address for the church there, I'll be happy to get it from Gayle. She stays in touch with a few of the Christians there and they would be able to help you if you ever needed help.
God bless you Love Marilyn
